1er TRIMESTRE
Introducción.- Arts materials
In this video you can watch some stuff you usually use to paint or make your drawings. Pay attention and jot down the name of all these materials. Then, We will review these words in the class.
Unit 1.- THE DOT

In this video you will learn how to shade your drawing using BLENDING STUMPS. Besides, you will have some important tips to put in practice depending on your type of paper.
Avoiding smudges is as important as smudging properly while shading your drawings, so in this video you will learns some tips to put in practice when you use graphite pencil or other stuff.
Unit 3.- THE PLANE
Shapes and forms are the matter of this unit. Read what it is about and find out which are the main differences between them. You can be pretty creative if you use these shapes and forms in your drawings. The image below shows a couple of design created for students some years ago.
Unit 4.- THE TEXTURE
This image, created by a student, shows how you can use textures by stumping or dabbing a piece of sponge with tempera. In this example, the student previously cut out a stencil to leave some clean areas.
